Description

A delightful cake that combines creamy ricotta cheese with the nutty flavor of almond flour, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Powdered sugar for dusting


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the ricotta cheese, sugar, and eggs until smooth.
  3. Add the almond flour, baking powder, salt, lemon zest, and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Let cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  7. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
