- Ziti pasta
- Ricotta cheese
- Mozzarella cheese
- Ground beef or sausage
- Marinara sauce
- Parmesan cheese

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook ziti pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until soft.
- Add ground beef or sausage; cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in marinara sauce, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 5-10 minutes.
- In a large bowl, mix cooked ziti with the meat sauce and ricotta cheese.
- Spread half of the ziti mixture in a baking dish and top with half of the mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Layer the remaining ziti mixture on top and finish with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
