Description

This Caramel Apple Pie combines crisp apples, buttery caramel, and a flaky crust for the ultimate holiday dessert. Perfect for fall gatherings or cozy weekends, it’s a sweet twist on the classic apple pie.


Ingredients

  • 6 cups Granny Smith apples (peeled, cored, sliced)
  • 1 cup caramel sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 prepared pie crust (top and bottom)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon coarse sugar (for sprinkling, optional)

 


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out pie crust and line a 9-inch pie dish.
  3. In a large bowl, toss apple slices with sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  4. Layer apple mixCover with lattice or full crust, sealing edges. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with sugar.
