Ingredients
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 cups cooked chicken, sliced
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked chicken to the sauce and stir to combine.
- Toss the cooked fettuccine in the sauce until well-coated.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
Use freshly grated Parmesan cheese for the best flavor. Avoid pre-grated cheese as it can make the sauce gritty. For a lighter version, consider using half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
