Description
A delicious chocolate banana bread that combines ripe bananas and rich chocolate for a perfect treat.
Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 4×8 inch loaf pan.
- Mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth. Stir in the melted butter.
- Mix in the baking soda and salt.
- Add the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract, and mix until combined.
- Stir in the flour until just incorporated.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let it cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Best served warm or at room temperature. Wrap in plastic wrap or store in an airtight container.
