Description
A soft chocolate bundt cake that is perfect for any occasion, whether it’s snack time, parties, or a small gift.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup hot water or hot coffee
Instructions
- Heat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a bundt pan well.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla. Beat until smooth.
- Stir in hot water or coffee until combined.
- Pour the batter into the greased bundt pan and tap to remove air bubbles.
- Bake for 35–45 minutes until a toothpick in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn it out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For a deeper chocolate flavor, use hot coffee. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
