Description

A soft chocolate bundt cake that is perfect for any occasion, whether it’s snack time, parties, or a small gift.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 3/4 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup hot water or hot coffee


Instructions

  1. Heat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a bundt pan well.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla. Beat until smooth.
  4. Stir in hot water or coffee until combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the greased bundt pan and tap to remove air bubbles.
  6. Bake for 35–45 minutes until a toothpick in the center comes out clean.
  7. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn it out onto a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For a deeper chocolate flavor, use hot coffee. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
