Description

A quick and easy brownie recipe topped with fresh strawberries and drizzled with chocolate sauce, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chunks
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1/2 cup chocolate sauce


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, melt the butter. Stir in the sugar until well combined.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this to the butter mixture, stirring until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chunks.
  6. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Allow the brownies to cool completely.
  9. Once cooled, top with sliced strawberries and drizzle with chocolate sauce.
  10. Cut into squares and serve.

Notes

Use room temperature eggs for best mixing results. Do not overmix after adding flour to ensure a soft brownie texture.
