Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the sugar until combined. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Whisk in the eggs one at a time and add the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- While the brownies are baking, make the chocolate ganache by heating the heavy cream in a small saucepan until just simmering. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate chips in a bowl and let sit for a minute. Stir until smooth and glossy.
- Once the brownies are cooled, pour the chocolate ganache over them and sprinkle with chopped strawberries.
- Let the ganache set for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Use room temperature eggs for a smoother batter. Allow brownies to cool completely before adding ganache to maintain its smoothness.
