Description
A delicious combination of soft brownies topped with fresh strawberries dipped in chocolate.
Ingredients
- 1 batch of homemade brownies (cooled)
- Fresh strawberries (leave stems on)
- 1 cup chocolate chips or chocolate melting wafers
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for smooth melt)
Instructions
- Bake your favorite brownies and let them cool all the way.
- Wash and dry the strawberries. Keep the stems on.
- Put the chocolate and oil in a microwave-safe bowl.
- Heat in 30-second bursts, stirring after each burst until smooth.
- Hold a strawberry by the stem and dip it in the chocolate, letting the excess drip off.
- Place the covered berries on a tray lined with parchment paper.
- Chill the berries until the chocolate is set.
- Cut the brownies into squares and place one chocolate-covered berry on top of each square to serve.
Notes
For best results, use firm, ripe strawberries and dry them well before dipping. Store in fridge and eat within 2 days for optimal taste.
