Description

A delicious combination of soft brownies topped with fresh strawberries dipped in chocolate.


Ingredients

  • 1 batch of homemade brownies (cooled)
  • Fresh strawberries (leave stems on)
  • 1 cup chocolate chips or chocolate melting wafers
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for smooth melt)


Instructions

  1. Bake your favorite brownies and let them cool all the way.
  2. Wash and dry the strawberries. Keep the stems on.
  3. Put the chocolate and oil in a microwave-safe bowl.
  4. Heat in 30-second bursts, stirring after each burst until smooth.
  5. Hold a strawberry by the stem and dip it in the chocolate, letting the excess drip off.
  6. Place the covered berries on a tray lined with parchment paper.
  7. Chill the berries until the chocolate is set.
  8. Cut the brownies into squares and place one chocolate-covered berry on top of each square to serve.

Notes

For best results, use firm, ripe strawberries and dry them well before dipping. Store in fridge and eat within 2 days for optimal taste.
