Description
Deliciously rich brownies topped with fresh strawberries dipped in melted chocolate, perfect for dessert or a sweet treat.
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, cut in half
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil (for melting chocolate)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, melt the butter. Stir in the sugar until well mixed.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry mix to the wet mix, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let the brownies cool in the pan.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil. Heat in short bursts, stirring until smooth.
- Dip each strawberry half in the melted chocolate and place them on the cooled brownies.
- Drizzle any remaining chocolate on top before letting it set. Cut the brownies into squares to serve.
Notes
For best results, use fresh strawberries and good quality chocolate for dipping. Let the brownies cool before adding the strawberries to maintain freshness.
