Description

A rich and fun cake that combines creamy caramel, soft chocolate, and crisp toffee, perfect for parties or a weeknight treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup toffee bits
  • 1 cup chocolate frosting
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • Whipped cream (for serving, optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until well combined.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  4. Allow the cake to cool completely in the pan.
  5. Poke holes in the top of the cake with a fork and drizzle caramel sauce evenly over the top.
  6. Sprinkle toffee bits on top of the cake.
  7. Frost the top with chocolate frosting and sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top.
  8. Serve with whipped cream if desired.

Notes

Use good quality caramel sauce for the best taste. For a lighter crumb, fold in the toffee bits gently.
