Description
Rich and bright pie bars made with dark chocolate and fresh raspberries, perfect for serving at gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 cup fresh raspberries
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix flour and granulated sugar. Add melted butter and mix until combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- In a separate bowl, melt dark chocolate chips and let cool slightly.
- Whisk together eggs, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix in the melted chocolate until smooth.
- Gently fold in the raspberries.
- Pour the filling over the crust in the baking pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until set.
- Let it cool before cutting into bars. Enjoy!
Notes
Use fresh raspberries for the best taste. Allow bars to cool well for clean cuts.
