Description

Rich and bright pie bars made with dark chocolate and fresh raspberries, perfect for serving at gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour and granulated sugar. Add melted butter and mix until combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. In a separate bowl, melt dark chocolate chips and let cool slightly.
  4. Whisk together eggs, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix in the melted chocolate until smooth.
  5. Gently fold in the raspberries.
  6. Pour the filling over the crust in the baking pan.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until set.
  8. Let it cool before cutting into bars. Enjoy!

Notes

Use fresh raspberries for the best taste. Allow bars to cool well for clean cuts.
