Rich chocolate cookies packed with semi-sweet chocolate chips and bits of Twix candy bars, perfect for any sweet tooth.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Twix candy bars, chopped into small pieces

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
  6. Stir in the semi-sweet chocolate chips and chopped Twix pieces until evenly distributed.
  7. Drop tablespoon-sized dough balls onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are set but centers are still soft.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
