Description
Rich chocolate cookies packed with semi-sweet chocolate chips and bits of Twix candy bars, perfect for any sweet tooth.
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup Twix candy bars, chopped into small pieces
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
- Stir in the semi-sweet chocolate chips and chopped Twix pieces until evenly distributed.
- Drop tablespoon-sized dough balls onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are set but centers are still soft.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.

Store in an airtight container for about a week or freeze for up to three months.
