Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked macaroni
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup flour

  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the cooked macaroni, cheese, milk, salt, and pepper until combined.
  2. Refrigerate the mixture for at least 1 hour to firm up.
  3. Once the mixture has set, shape it into small balls or patties.
  4. Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
  5. Dip each macaroni bite first in flour, then in egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
