Ingredients
- 200 g Dark Chocolate
- 150 g Unsalted Butter
- 100 g Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 4 Sheets of Gelatin
- Food Coloring
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F). Grease a 23 cm (9 inch) round cake pan and line it with parchment paper.
- Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a water bath, mixing well.
- Add the sweetened condensed milk to the melted chocolate mixture and stir until smooth. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes. Test the cake with a toothpick; if it comes out clean, remove it from the oven and let it cool completely.
- Soak the gelatin sheets in cold water. Then, in a small pot, dissolve the gelatin with 2-3 tablespoons of water over low heat.
- Combine the melted chocolate with the dissolved gelatin and add food coloring. Mix well until you achieve the desired color.
- Place the cooled cake on a wire rack and pour the glaze evenly over the top. Let the glaze set.
- Cut the cake into slices and serve.
Notes
For best results, let the cake cool completely before applying the glaze. Experiment with different food coloring to create unique designs.
