Description

Fun and easy no-bake snack that kids can help make, perfect for parties or quiet nights.


Ingredients

  • 36 Oreo Cookies (or gluten-free Oreos)
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese (full-fat recommended)
  • 12 oz White Chocolate (or milk/dark chocolate)
  • Sprinkles or Edible Eyes (optional for decoration)


Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreo cookies finely in a bag using a rolling pin or in a food processor.
  2. Mix the crushed cookies with soft cream cheese in a bowl until smooth.
  3. Form the mixture into 1-inch balls using a small spoon and roll with your hands.
  4. Place the balls on a tray lined with paper and chill for 15 to 30 minutes to set.
  5. Melt the white chocolate in a bowl over low heat or in short bursts in the microwave, stirring well.
  6. Dip each chilled ball into the white chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
  7. Return each truffle to the paper and add edible eyes or sprinkles while the chocolate is wet.
  8. Chill again for 10 minutes to harden the chocolate coating.

Notes

For best results, use room temperature cream cheese and chill the balls well before dipping.
