Ingredients
- 36 Oreo Cookies (or gluten-free Oreos)
- 8 oz Cream Cheese (full-fat recommended)
- 12 oz White Chocolate (or milk/dark chocolate)
- Sprinkles or Edible Eyes (optional for decoration)
Instructions
- Crush the Oreo cookies finely in a bag using a rolling pin or in a food processor.
- Mix the crushed cookies with soft cream cheese in a bowl until smooth.
- Form the mixture into 1-inch balls using a small spoon and roll with your hands.
- Place the balls on a tray lined with paper and chill for 15 to 30 minutes to set.
- Melt the white chocolate in a bowl over low heat or in short bursts in the microwave, stirring well.
- Dip each chilled ball into the white chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
- Return each truffle to the paper and add edible eyes or sprinkles while the chocolate is wet.
- Chill again for 10 minutes to harden the chocolate coating.
Notes
For best results, use room temperature cream cheese and chill the balls well before dipping.
