Ingredients
- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1 cup crushed peppermint candies
- 1 can (16 oz) whipped cream or frosting
- Extra crushed peppermint for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until well combined.
- Stir in the peppermint extract and crushed peppermint.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool completely.
- Frost the cake with whipped cream or frosting, and sprinkle extra crushed peppermint on top.
- Serve and enjoy your festive treat!
