Description

A festive and easy cake made with a box mix, peppermint, and whipped cream, perfect for holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1 cup crushed peppermint candies
  • 1 can (16 oz) whipped cream or frosting
  • Extra crushed peppermint for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until well combined.
  3. Stir in the peppermint extract and crushed peppermint.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let the cake cool completely.
