Description

A quick and flavorful pasta dish perfect for late-night cravings, combining garlic, cherry tomatoes, and fresh basil.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese for serving


Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente; drain.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking until the garlic is fragrant.
  3. Add the cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook until they are slightly softened.
  4. Toss the cooked spaghetti into the skillet with the tomatoes and garlic.
  5. Stir in the fresh basil, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve warm, topped with grated Parmesan cheese.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh from the stove with extra Parmesan cheese on top. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
