Description
Delicious and easy-to-make Oreo balls with a sweet, soft center covered in melted chocolate.
Ingredients
- 38 Oreo cookies (regular)
- 8 oz cream cheese (regular), softened
- 10 oz melting chocolate
Instructions
- Add 38 Oreo cookies to a food processor and pulse until even-sized crumbs.
- Remove two tablespoons of crumbs for garnish.
- Add softened cream cheese to the cookie crumbs and pulse until combined.
- Use a cookie scoop to portion the Oreo balls, then roll into balls by hand.
- Place the balls on a parchment-lined cookie sheet and freeze for 30 minutes.
- Set up a double boiler and heat water for 5 minutes.
- Add chocolate wafers to the bowl over simmering water and stir until melted.
- Dip cold Oreo balls into melted chocolate and place back on the parchment-lined cookie sheet.
- Garnish with reserved crumbs immediately.
Notes
For best results, use full-fat cream cheese and keep the balls cold before dipping to ensure smooth chocolate coating.
