Description

Delicious and easy-to-make Oreo balls with a sweet, soft center covered in melted chocolate.


Ingredients

  • 38 Oreo cookies (regular)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (regular), softened
  • 10 oz melting chocolate


Instructions

  1. Add 38 Oreo cookies to a food processor and pulse until even-sized crumbs.
  2. Remove two tablespoons of crumbs for garnish.
  3. Add softened cream cheese to the cookie crumbs and pulse until combined.
  4. Use a cookie scoop to portion the Oreo balls, then roll into balls by hand.
  5. Place the balls on a parchment-lined cookie sheet and freeze for 30 minutes.
  6. Set up a double boiler and heat water for 5 minutes.
  7. Add chocolate wafers to the bowl over simmering water and stir until melted.
  8. Dip cold Oreo balls into melted chocolate and place back on the parchment-lined cookie sheet.
  9. Garnish with reserved crumbs immediately.

Notes

For best results, use full-fat cream cheese and keep the balls cold before dipping to ensure smooth chocolate coating.
