Description

A delightful twist on classic pecan pie, these crescent rolls are filled with a rich, nutty pecan mixture and baked to golden perfection.

Ingredients

  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the chopped pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the pecan mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll the dough from the wide end to the tip, sealing the filling inside.
  6. Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  7. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

These rolls are best served warm and can be dusted with powdered sugar for extra sweetness. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature or refrigerate for a week.
