Description

Delicious and easy dessert combining the classic flavors of pecan pie with flaky crescent rolls, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 can of crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup of pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup of corn syrup
  • 3 tablespoons of butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the chopped pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.
  3. Open the can of crescent roll dough and separate the triangles.
  4. Spoon some of the pecan mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll up each triangle, starting from the wide end and rolling towards the point. Pinch the edges to seal.
  6. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Beat the egg and brush it over the top of each roll.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, toast the pecans before adding them to the filling. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days or refrigerate for up to a week.
