Delightful and easy-to-make Pecan Pie Crescent Rolls that combine the classic flavors of pecan pie in a flaky crescent roll.
Ingredients
- 1 can crescent roll dough
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the chopped pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- Place a spoonful of the pecan mixture at the wide end of each triangle and roll it up.
- Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar if desired.
