Description

Delightful and easy-to-make Pecan Pie Crescent Rolls that combine the classic flavors of pecan pie in a flaky crescent roll.


Ingredients

  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the chopped pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, vanilla extract, and salt.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the pecan mixture at the wide end of each triangle and roll it up.
  5. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar if desired.
