A delightful twist on classic pecan pie, these crescent rolls feature a flaky crust and rich, nutty filling, perfect for gatherings or a sweet treat at home.
Ingredients
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup brown sugar (light or dark)
- 2 tablespoons corn syrup (light or dark)
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, butter, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
- Unroll crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
- Spoon 1 tablespoon of filling onto the wide end of each triangle and roll it tightly.
- Place the crescents on the baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden.
- Cool for a few minutes before serving. Optional: drizzle glaze over top.
Notes
For extra flavor, toast the pecans before mixing, and adjust the sweetness based on preference.
