A delightful twist on classic pecan pie, these crescent rolls feature a flaky crust and rich, nutty filling, perfect for gatherings or a sweet treat at home.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (light or dark)
  • 2 tablespoons corn syrup (light or dark)
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, butter, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Unroll crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
  4. Spoon 1 tablespoon of filling onto the wide end of each triangle and roll it tightly.
  5. Place the crescents on the baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden.
  6. Cool for a few minutes before serving. Optional: drizzle glaze over top.

Notes

For extra flavor, toast the pecans before mixing, and adjust the sweetness based on preference.
