Description

A quick and easy pasta dish that combines the classic flavors of a Philly cheesesteak, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups provolone cheese, shredded
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the sliced steak, cooking until browned; remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add onion and bell pepper, sauté until softened.
  5. Stir in garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  6. Return the steak to the skillet, then add beef broth and heavy cream; bring to a simmer.
  7. Stir in the cooked pasta and cheese, mixing until the cheese is melted and everything is well combined.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider marinating the steak in soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce before cooking. Add other veggies like mushrooms or spinach for added nutrition.
