Soft and pink strawberry cookies bursting with flavor, perfect for snacks or small parties.
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 & 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tsp strawberry extract
- 2 tsp pink food coloring
- 2 & 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, strawberry extract, and food coloring until well blended.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For a softer cookie, bake on the shorter time. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or in the fridge for one week.
