A delicious chocolate cake with cream cheese, fresh strawberries, and whipped cream, perfect for a quick dessert.
Ingredients
- 1 package of chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup of water
- 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup strawberries, diced
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 1/4 cup strawberry sauce (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until well combined and pour into the prepared baking dish.
- In another bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth, then fold in the diced strawberries.
- Spoon dollops of the cream cheese mixture over the cake batter and swirl with a knife.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool, then top with whipped cream and strawberry sauce before serving.
Notes
Use room temperature ingredients for best results. Cover and refrigerate leftovers for up to 4 days.
