Description

A delicious chocolate cake with cream cheese, fresh strawberries, and whipped cream, perfect for a quick dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup strawberries, diced
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1/4 cup strawberry sauce (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until well combined and pour into the prepared baking dish.
  3. In another bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth, then fold in the diced strawberries.
  4. Spoon dollops of the cream cheese mixture over the cake batter and swirl with a knife.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Let cool, then top with whipped cream and strawberry sauce before serving.

Notes

Use room temperature ingredients for best results. Cover and refrigerate leftovers for up to 4 days.
