Description

Ingredients

  • Ladyfingers or sponge cake
  • Custard
  • Whipped cream
  • Fruit (such as berries or bananas)
  • Jelly (optional)
  • Nuts (for topping, optional)


Instructions

  1. Prepare the custard according to package directions or your favorite recipe.
  2. If using jelly, prepare it according to the package instructions and let it set.
  3. In a trifle dish or individual cups, layer ladyfingers or sponge cake at the bottom.
  4. Pour a layer of custard over the cake layer.
  5. Add a layer of fruits on top of the custard.
  6. Repeat the layering process until the dish is filled, finishing with whipped cream on top.
  7. If desired, add nuts or additional fruits for garnish.
