Description

Festive cookies combining classic chocolate chip flavors with white chocolate and peppermint for a delightful holiday treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract. Mix well.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, and crushed peppermint candies.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, leaving space between each.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
  9. Allow to cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For extra peppermint flavor, consider using peppermint extract in addition to vanilla extract. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
