Description
Classic, warm, and gooey chocolate chip cookies that are perfect for sharing and enjoying fresh-baked.
Ingredients
- 2 1/4 dl all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 115 g butter (room temperature)
- 1 dl granulated sugar
- 1 dl brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1 1/2 dl chocolate chips (dark or milk chocolate)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 190 °C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream the butter with the granulated and brown sugars until creamy and fluffy.
- Add the vanilla extract and egg to the butter mixture, mixing until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, stirring gently with a spatula until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed in the dough.
- Shape the dough into balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, about 5 cm apart.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. The center may still look soft.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze them for up to three months.
